Before I met my husband, I didn’t eat very much meat. As a student, I subsisted on carbs and vegetables and was quite happy that way. I ate my weight in hummus and pita. My husband, on the other hand, thought that a “meat free” meal was chicken. He was a meat and potatoes boy and a stubborn one at that.
